Kate Beckinsale and Chloe Sevigny for ‘Love and Friendship’

Kate Beckinsale and Chloe Sevigny – who starred together in the comedy drama ‘Last Days of Disco’ in 1998 – have teamed up once again in ‘Love & Friendship’.

Kate Beckinsale and Chloe Sevigny will star in ‘Love & Friendship’.

The ‘Underworld’ actress and the ‘Boys Don’t Cry’ star will appear in the upcoming screen adaptation of Jane Austen’s novella ‘Lady Susan’.

The movie – which will be helmed by Whit Stillman – marks a reunion for the pair, who previously starred together in the 1998 comedy drama ‘Last Days of Disco’.

Beckinsale, 41, will play the title character, widow Lady Susan Vernon, who arrives at the country estate of her in-laws and attempts to bag herself a new man while also trying to help her daughter, Frederica, find love.

Sevigny, 40, will star as Lady Susan’s confidante, Alicia, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Stillman has also signed up James Fleet, Jemma Redgrave, Emma Greenwell, Morfydd Clark, Tom Bennett and Justin Edwards to appear in the picture.

The movie has no set release date but it is believed the brunette beauty and co-star Chloe will begin shooting in Ireland towards the end of the month.
