After getting many roles in successful films, the actress will be playing in the independent film Big Eyes, about the life of the famous painter Margaret Keane. Keane’s distinctive paintings featured children with big eyes in the 1950s. The drama will unfold showing Keane’s personal growth during the time of the feminist movement, and the artist sues her husband who tries to get credit for her work.
The movie will be written and directed by Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski, and will start shooting in June.
Kate Hudson can be seen Friday (February 8) in the movie Fool’s Gold opposite Matthew McConaughey.
