The actress, who is the daughter of Goldie Hawn, insists that people in the film industry only see her as her mother’s daughter.
Hudson, who has already been nominated for an Oscar, still says that she is happy to have a career in film. The Almost Famous star chose her career without any pushing from her famous mom. She explained, "People don’t always want to believe that. They want to believe I do it because I felt I had to, or to be like my mom, or to compete with my mom. Or any other of a number of things that have nothing to do with who I am."
Hudson added that she loves acting, and is a very simple person. The actress is married and is the mother of a 2 year-old son, Ryder.
