Kate Hudson made to watch motoring shows

Kate Hudson loves watching British TV, though she is tired of the men in her household -partner Matt Bellamy and her sons Bingham and Ryder – making her watch motoring show ‘Top Gear’.

Kate Hudson is forced to watch motoring shows on TV.

The 33-year-old actress is a fan of British programs but is tired of being forced to join her partner Matt Bellamy, their 19-month-old son Bingham and Ryder, her nine-year-old son with ex-husband Chris Robinson, in tuning into car enthusiasts’ show ‘Top Gear’.

She said: "I like staying in and watching British TV. It’s a lot of ‘Top Gear’ – I’ve got boys. I love them but I can’t watch this again."

When she manages to take control of the TV, Kate enjoys watching shows fronted by Professor Brian Cox because she finds his programs, such as ‘Stargazing Live’ and ‘Wonders of the Universe’, "inspiring".

She added: "My favourite is Brian Cox, the scientist. I find him inspiring."

Kate is likely to be joined in watching the science programming by her fiance, as Matt has often discussed his interest in space and even wants his band Muse to perform and record outside of the earth’s atmosphere by taking a trip of Sir Richard Branson’s planned commercial space flight Virgin Galactic.

He has previously said: "We’re trying to blag a free trip on it [Virgin Galactic]. I’m going to try to convince Richard Branson to let us make a music video or record a song up there. I think that would be cool. Would I be scared? I think I’ll be alright."
