According to the American magazine, Us Weekly, the two first separated on August 14. Now, six weeks later, Hudson, who starred in the film Almost Famous, among others, is ready to formally file divorce papers.
The rumours that Hudson is already in love with her co-star from the film You, Me and Dupree, Owen Wilson, are still going strong. A source close to Hudson revealed that the 27 year-old actress wants to be free to date who she pleases. The source said, "he is filing for divorce imminently. As soon as she files, it relieves a lot of the pressure of going out with Owen."
Hudson and Wilson have been spotted together frequently, having dinner and playing soccer. The two also vacationed together in Hawaii.
The source added, "She’s much more true to herself when she’s with Owen. Kate has never been happier."
