Kate Hudson Sued for Fraud

Laboratories 220 is reportedly suing Kate Hudson and her hairstylist David Babaii for having stolen their hair care products idea.

A lawsuit was filed against actress Kate Hudson and hairstylist David Babaii, according to UsMagazine.com.

220 Laboratories is suing Hudson and Babaii for fraud, misappropriation of manufacturing secrets and breach of contract, among other allegations.

220 claims that the actress and stylist stole top-secret concepts regarding the manufacturing of a product using volcanic ashes.

220 also argues that they shared the list of their ingredients with Hudson and Babaii, and accuses them of taking the samples and going off on their own to find a better contract.

The company had an "oral contract" with the two accused.

Thus, the company is reclaiming an unspecified sum for damages and interest, as well as for attorneys’ fees and an injunction against the competitors’ use of products.

A rep for the actress said that her attorneys have just learned about the lawsuit and that they will adamantly defend the actress.

The rep added that Kate Hudson does not know the people from 220 Laboratories and that they have never met.
