Hudson, star of the movie Almost Famous, has been dating Dax Shepard since last July and is not able to end her relationship herself. Shepard apparently learned it from a friend.
A souyrce told E! Online, "Dax got a phone call about it from a friend. He’s upset that she didn’t bother to say anything to him."
The 28-year-old actress who has a son with the singer from the Black Crowes, Chris Robinson, also dated Owen Wilson during the filming of You, Me and Dupree.
Wilson and Hudson broke up in June because Hudson had had enough of the partying with Wilson.
Hudson is presently filming the movie Bachelor No.2 opposite Dane Cook, in Boston.
