FemaleFirst reported that the star told Doherty that he could keep the rights to these songs.
A source told The Sun, "Kate wants Pete to have the royalties. She was happy to have the writing credits on the album but it’s not about the money for her. The music is Pete’s thing. There is still a huge place in her heart for him and she is happy to see him doing better. She doesn’t want to take money off him. And besides, he needs it more than her."
