According to Variety, the star of the television show Grey’s Anatomy, will be in a battle of the sexes with Butler (P.S. I Love You) in this Sony Pictures film.
Heigl will play the producer of a television morning show, called The Ugly Truth, and Butler will play the host of this show.
The movie will be directed by Robert Luketic and screenwriters Karen McCullah Lutz and Kristin Smith, who did the successful movie Legally Blonde. Filming will begin in April.
Until that time, Butler can be seen in the adventure comedy Nim’s Island. Heigl can also be seen on the big screen in 27 Dresses.
