According to People, Katherine Jackson has been named the children’s official guardian.
"There is no situation better for these children than for them to be raised and reared in the loving care of Mrs. Katherine Jackson," stated attorney L. Londell McMillan.
Debbie Rowe, the biological mother of the two eldest children, did not pursue custody, however, she still has visitation rights.
Mrs. Jackson will now have the task of raising her grandchildren, Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11, and Prince Michael II, 7. A judge will make the final ruling on the decision on August 3.
Regarding the financial problems of the late King of Pop, McMillan says that the family has no need to worry, because according to him, the Michael Jackson estate is worth $2 billion.
