At the evening premiere of All My Sons, starring Katie Holmes at Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre in New York, anti-Scientology protesters took the opportunity to make a scene and picket.
Approximately 20 people in masks were yelling that they were not boycotting Katie Holmes, nor the show, but Scientology, the religion Holmes’ husband Tom Cruise practises and fervently defends.
To the picketers, Scientology is an evil cult. A spokesperson for the protesters said that he hoped the actress would leave the religion before it was too late.
