Katie Holmes named Olay ambassador

Katie Holmes is the new ambassador for Olay.

‘The Giver’ star – who has previously fronted beauty campaigns for Bobbi Brown – has been unveiled as the new face of the skincare company in the role of global ambassador.

The brunette beauty – who has already shot her first commercial for the brand, a video ad entitled ‘Your Best Beautiful – is thrilled to have teamed-up with the Ohio-based brand as it takes her back to her routes.

She told People magazine: ”It’s an Ohio company, so it feels like home to be working with them. They really mean something to women. I remember buying Olay in high school because I wanted to look pretty.”

She added in a statement: ”Olay is a brand I respect, trust and believe in. I love the products and message to women to never settle and put their best face forward, every day.”

The 35-year-old star also shared her top tips to help women ”feel beautiful on the inside and outside, highlighting the importance of staying hydrated and exercising.

She previously said: ”I do a lot of facials to keep my skin in good condition.

”I drink a lot of water and exercise to keep my skin in order. When I’m working and wearing make-up under light everyday, I do more facials just to clean-up the pores and keep it all going in the right direction.”
