TeenMusic.com reports that Singer Katy Perry celebrated her engagement to British comic Russell Brand surrounded by family at a Los Angeles party last week.
Brand confirmed he had popped the question on New Year’s Day during a romantic trip to India.
The couple decided to celebrate their engagement at Il Cielo restaurant in Beverly Hills during a party with 50 of their closest friends and family including Perry’s mom, Mary Hudson.
The lovebirds met last September at an MTV Video Music Awards gala and have been inseparable ever since.
Perry recently denied pregnancy rumours that started when the star was spotted strolling with her fiancé in a children’s shoe store in North London.
