Katy Perry has a very good hair day

Pop star signs on as brand ambassador for U.K. haircare company, GHD.

Pop star Katy Perry has signed a multi-year deal with U.K. haircare company GHD, reports Coco Perez. As part of Perry’s deal in becoming the new face of the brand, GHD will be one of the sponsors of the singer’s upcoming California Dreams tour. 

Perry has already finished the photo-shoot for an international campaign. The images, which were shot by David LaChapelle, are being kept secret for now but are expected to start appearing in magazines next month.

"I’m very excited to reveal the styles I did with legendary David LaChapelle in the upcoming GHD campaign. Keep your eyes peeled for it!" enthused Perry.

GHD, which stands for ‘Good Hair Day’, was founded in 2001 and quickly achieved a cult-like following from celebrities. Offering high-end hair straighteners and products, the brand is available in a number of countries, including the U.S.

"I’m so excited to be working with GHD, especially using their tools on my California Dreams Tour to get me stage ready. GHD products have a reputation of being the best products in the biz, and I like being associated with that," Perry said in a statement.
