Katy Perry was named the sexiest star on Maxim magazine’s list of the Top 100 celebrities of 2010.
The I Kissed A Girl singer, who will tie the knot with British comic Russell Brand at the end of the year, beat out the likes of Megan Fox, Zoe Saldana and Rihanna for the top spot.
Some other hot stars that made the cut include Sports Illustrated cover girl Brooklyn Decker, Gossip Girl star Blake Lively, George Clooney’s girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis, actress Olivia Munn, reality TV star Kim Kardashian and model Marisa Miller.
Maxim editor-in-chief Joe Levy told Us magazine: "It’s that feeling you get when you suddenly realize that the smartest, funniest, coolest girl you know also happens to the best looking and a pretty good skateboarder, too. All of sudden, your crush goes supernova, and this is Katy’s supernova moment."
Katy Perry revealed recently to People magazine that she wants a small wedding with just close friends and family present. She did add, however, that all the friends who won’t be at the wedding are welcome to attend the rocking reception.
