Katy Perry, whose song I Kissed a Girl has been playing everywhere for the past year, promises that her next album will be more mature and represent the 25-year-old woman that she’s become.
Aware that she owes much of her success to her young girl look, which contributed to promoting her album One Of The Boys, Perry is more ready than ever to move on and get past her youthful image.
"[Boys] was like my ‘Dear Diary’ album, from when I was like 17 to 23. … It was my perspective then, and it was so widespread, and some of the things that really meant a lot to me at 17, you know, they change. They evolve," Perry told MTV.
The next album will touch upon all the media coverage she’s received this year, her breakups, her past, as well as her small, publicized altercations.
