Ke$ha debuts video spoof on website

Pop star partners with Funny or Die for satirical Disney video.

Pop singer Ke$ha has partnered with humour website Funny or Die to produce a satirical video titled Walt Disney’s Princess Ke$ha, reports MTV.

The clip mocks Disney’s wholesome family entertainment, featuring a foul-mouthed Ke$ha in the title role. It also spoofs Disney’s tendency to mix live actors with animated characters, showing Princess Ke$ha surrounded by lewd cartoon critters.

Rather than some sweet song as sung by Cinderella, Ke$ha bursts out with a rap: "Time to get the day going/ Dress it up to the nines/ Yo, critter crew/ Make Princess Ke$ha look fine. / Add a little pinch of magic from my fairy-tale life and off we go. …I’m getting ready so nice / I’m getting customized."

The singer eventually ends up back in something closer to the real world – although it’s still not free of animated critters. A cartoon rat and pumpkin are magically transformed by a cross-dressing homeless man playing the role of Ke$ha’s fairy godmother. Rather than a horse-drawn carriage, Princess Ke$ha gets ferried off by a man pushing a shopping cart.
