British newspaper The Sun reports that a 41-year old man was arrested last week for harassing Keira Knightley.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star alerted police saying she felt threatened by an admirer who regularly waited for her outside the Comedy Theatre in London. She is currently performing there in Molière’s The Misanthrope.
The man was arrested outside the theatre on Thursday (February 4) and was being held for questioning.
"Keira felt threatened by this guy who turned up a number of times and tried to speak to her. He did not make any specific threats to her but she was concerned enough to call the police," a source says.
A London police spokesperson confirms, "A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of harassment on Thursday (February 4). The arrest follows concern expressed by a woman."
