Keira Knightley’s waist has ”disappeared”.
The ‘Imitation Game’ actress – who is expecting her first child with husband James Righton – insists dressing her changing shape for formal events isn’t too difficult, but she isnt opting for anything tight-fitting.
Asked on the red carpet at the Screen Actors Guild awards last night (01.25.15) if it is harder to dress her bump, Keira – who wore a flowing purple lace Erdem gown to the event – said: ”It just means you’re not going to wear anything tight. Actually, people do wear tight things when they’re pregnant, don’t they? I don’t want to go for that. So it’s just on quite loose, which is quite nice.”
Admiring E! presenter Maria Menounos’ fitted, strapless gold dress, she added: ”If I had that waist at the moment, I’d do the same thing. But the waist has disappeared so I can’t do that.”
The 29-year-old beauty – who lost out to ‘Boyhood’ star Patricia Arquette in the Outstanding Female Actor in a Supporting Role category – donned high-heeled shoes for the occasion but admitted she was unsure whether they would last the whole evening.
She said: ”The shoes are quite high — they may come off later. I can go, ‘Well,l I’m pregnant so my shoes have to come off and no one’s allowed to say anything.’ ”
