Country singer Urban spent 90 days in the Betty Ford Clinic in Palm Springs, California earlier this year for treatment of his dependence on alcohol.
The 39 year-old man is happy that he went through the program because it allowed him to save his marriage to actress Nicole Kidman. According to FemaleFirst, Urban said, "Not going in would have cost me my career at the very least, and my marriage would have been gone, anyway. That real cleansing and surrendering everything is what was really needed for me."
Urban also believes that he was in a turning point in his life. He is happy to have gone through the experience, which has been great for his marriage.
