The actor, who made his debut in the vampire film Twilight, denied the rumour saying that he is dating 90210 actress AnnaLynne McCord.
The 24-year-old star, who has been linked to McCord for a few months now, claims that he is still recovering from his recent breakup, and that he is not ready to fall in love again.
Lutz explained to the New York Daily News, "I am quite single. I am happy being single. I’m very busy. I’m a relationship guy, but I recently broke up with someone who I was really in love with. And if that didn’t work, how could anything else right now?"
Lutz and McCord co-star in New Moon, the second film of the Twilight franchise that hits theatres on November 20.
