Kelly Clarkson speaks out about leaked tracks

Pop singer reassures fans that songs are just demo recordings.

First-season American Idol winner, U.S. pop singer Kelly Clarkson has made a statement to reassure fans that recently-leaked online tracks are just demo recordings, and not the “real deal,” reports Starpulse.

The Grammy-winning Clarkson, 29, insists the snippets are demos and have nothing to do with her fifth album, which is due out shortly.

“I just heard another demo of mine leaked,” she wrote on her Facebook page. “I don’t know how or who is doing it but they’re demos and not the real deal. I record a ton of songs I write and songs that other people write when I’m making an album."

She apologized to her fans for the misunderstanding, “Sorry for the confusion. I promise y’all I’m just as anxious to get my CD out!

“The recording is all done and now we’re finishing up with mixing the record and getting ready to release the single in July.”

In the first week of its 2009 release, Clarkson’s single My Life Would Suck Without You broke the record for the largest leap to the top, advancing from number 97 to Number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
