Kelly Osbourne has not had a good beginning for 2009. She was arrested for slapping a journalist and was ordered to spend 30 days in detox, reports People.
Osbourne, 24, had already been through treatment programs in 2004 and 2005 for her addiction to painkillers. "Kelly’s always struggled with addiction," said a source.
The friend explained that Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne’s daughter splits her time between London and Los Angeles. Kelly is influenced by the atmosphere of the cities, and London is not a place for a person struggling with addiciton.
"It’s a very party atmosphere there," added the source.
Luckily, it seems that Kelly’s boyfriend, Luke Worrell, is a good influence. The friend said,
"She’s never been happier. She’s really found love with Luke."
