Affleck will play a man who takes a construction job with his brother (Costner) after recently being laid off. Tommy Lee Jones will play a conflicted senior partner at a firm.
The movie will be the first feature film for John Wells, who wrote and directed several episodes of ER. Filming of The Company Men begins in April in Boston.
