According to People magazine, Federline has responded to divorce papers filed by Spears in a Los Angeles court. The 28 year-old man, has also requested full custody of the couple’s two sons, as did Spears.
In a suprise move, Federline requested full custody of Sean Preston, 1, and Jayden James, born September 12, with visitation rights for Spears. Lynn Soodik, a law specialist, said, "It’s not that unusual, but if you want to send a message that you want to be amicable, both parties would seek joint custody."
The two stars seem ready to battle over the custody issue. Federline, who just released his first CD, Playing With Fire, also expects to receive financial support from his ex-wife.
In the coming days, Federline and his attorney will be deciding if they will contest the pre-nuptial agreement.
