Federline told People magazine that his only role for the past five years, has been that of a father.
Since his divorce from Spears in 2006, and during Britney’s crisis, Federline, 30, focused his energy on his two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James. Federline also has two children with his former girlfriend, Shar Jackson.
Federline revealed that his marriage didn’t work with Spears, because he concentrated entirely on the children. He explained, "It’s hard enough to be in a marriage, and then have a kid, then kids, it changes everything. For me, I’d become more concerned with my children."
He added that now things seem to be working much more smoothly. His sons have been able to spend time with their mother, and they have established a family structure.
