Kid Cudi delays album

The rapper’s second album will now drop in October.

Kid Cudi, a.k.a. Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi, already has one album under his belt. Man on the Moon: The End of Day was released in 2009 and earned a few Grammy nominations. The single Day n’ Nite received two nominations for Best Rap Solo Performance and Best Rap Song. Make Her Say was nominated for Best Rap Performance by a Group or Duo.

Man On The Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager was scheduled for release in September. Now there is word the album will instead drop at the end of October.

Kid Cudi is part of GOOD Music, the record label founded by controversial music producer/rapper Kanye West. GOOD is an acronym for Getting Out Our Dreams. Other artists signed by the label include John Legend, Common, Consequence and Big Sean.

One single off Kid Cudi’s new album has already been released, a collaboration with West called Erase Me.
