The singer spent the holidays visiting troops in Iraq. Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert Richie, performed a free concert to show his gratitude to the men and women in the army. He also made a special visit to two soldiers who were seriously injured from a car explosion.
The star explained, "This year for Christmas I wanted to make sure somebody was thanking our troops for their service, no matter what our views are on the current situation in Iraq."
Kid Rock, who is the father of a 13 year-old boy, recently divorced actress Pamela Anderson. The 35 year-old singer will stay with the troops until December 29.
