According to Variety, Disney and producer Jerry Bruckheimer have acquired the screen rights to the Steven Pressfield novel, Killing Rommel.
The story revolves around a British battalion that tries to thwart the desert operations of German General Erwin Rommel, nicknamed "Desert Fox."
Randall Wallace (Braveheart, Pearl Harbor) will write the script with Steven Pressfield, and Jerry Bruckheimer will produce the project.
