According to The New York Post, the actress, 51, is the lead candidate if the scenario of the film suggests a mature hero.
Should the producers decide they prefer a younger hero, the role will be played by Jessica Biehl (Blade).
Producer Joel Silver (The Matrix) is the person in charge of getting the flick off the groud for Warner Brothers. A date to start filming is not yet known.
The film is based on the television series by the same name, that starred actress Lynda Carter. The series ran from 1976 until 1979.
