OK! magazine reports that Cattrall has separated from her boyfriend of nine years, chef Alan Wyse.
According to a source, their problems began in April and continued to get worse, leading to their breakup.
"They realised they were at different points in their lives. They still care about each other and will remain friends," a source told the tabloid.
The 52-year-old Sex and the City star is 20 years older than Wyse.
