Kim Kardashian West says her Paris ordeal was a "life changing experience" and she feels "blessed" to be safe with her family.

Kim Kardashian West says her Paris ordeal was a "life changing experience".

Kim was robbed at gunpoint in the French capital last year and hours before she opened up about the experience on her reality TV show ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ on Sunday (19.03.17), the 36-year-old reality TV star took to Twitter to address her fans.

She wrote: "Tonight’s episode is going to be very tough for me.

"However, I thought it was important to share this story through my eyes & not in an interview where my own words could be twisted

"I have always shared so much & I’m not going to hold back when this was probably one of the most life changing experiences for me.

"I would never wish this experience upon anyone, but have learned some valuable lessons &feel so blessed to be safe home w my babies & husband

"To my friends, family, and loved ones I can’t thank you enough for being there when I needed you the most.

"To the French police, thank you for your incredible hard work (sic)."

Meanwhile, Kim’s mother Kris Jenner recently admitted she feared her daughter would die when she was tied up and had her jewels stolen from her hotel in Paris.

She said: "It’s been the most devastating thing to have one of your children fear for their life thinking at any moment they were going to die when they have two small children.

"For the rest of us, the thought of losing Kim is emotionally scarring and hard to overcome … That’s it, I can’t talk about it anymore."

Speaking previously, Kim admitted she "knew something wasn’t right" just before the whole terrifying incident happened.

She recalled: "I’m calling to them [her sister and assistant], like, ‘Hello? Hello?’ And there’s no answer. And then at that moment when there wasn’t an answer, my heart started to get really tense. Like, you know [when] your stomach just kind of knots up and you’re like, ‘OK, what’s going on?’ I knew something wasn’t quite right.

"[I saw] two guys holding another guy down, in police uniforms, right outside of my bedroom, five feet away … The guy came in and grabbed the phone from me, threw me on the bed, and I was like, ‘This is it.’ I couldn’t understand them, they couldn’t understand me. What I’ve heard from talking to [the concierge] afterwards is they said, ‘Where is the rapper’s wife? Let us up to her room.’"
