Kings of Leon rock out in Hyde Park

Frontman Caleb Followill calls it "one of the greatest experiences of my life."

The Kings of Leon headlined a huge outdoor show in London’s Hyde Park on June 30. The band wowed the 60,000+ crowd with hit songs from their four previous platinum albums, and new songs too.

The frontman of the Nashville-based bunch shared with the crowd. Caleb Followill informed fans: "Since we saw you guys last we went and made a record. That’s what we put a lot of work into. Just yesterday some people at the record label got to hear a couple of songs from it. I don’t know if they want us to play a bunch of new songs but I think, ‘F**k it’ – we’re gonna do it!"

The Kings of Leon debuted new, previously unheard tracks, including Southbound, Immortals and Radioactive.

There were some famous faces in the crowd to watch the band in action. Notoriously media shy Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and wifey Gwyneth Paltrow were spotted enjoying the show.

The Kings of Leon will return to the UK in August to headline the V Festival. Other popular musicians slated to appear include Kasabian, Mika, La Roux and Florence and the Machine.
