Dunst and Sturgess (Across the Universe) will be filmed in Montreal next year in the French-Canadian co-production Upside Down.
Directed Juan Diego Solanas, the film gets a budget of 50 million dollars. It is described to have the style of Romeo and Juliette, but with a science-fiction twist.
Filming will begin in mid-February 2010 in Montreal for a fall 2011 release.
Kirsten Dunst recently wrapped up the film All Good Things with Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Ryan Gosling. The film hits theatres in March. As for Jim Sturgess, he will be sharing the screen with Colin Farrell in The Way Back in 2010.
