Korine Côté succeeds Cathy Gauthier and Eve Côté at Les Olivier Gala

After François Bellefeuille and Katherine Levac, it’s the turn of the dynamic duo of Cathy Gauthier and Ève Côté to pass on the hosting torch.

This year, the Gala Les Olivier will be back with just one person hosting the prestigious comedy awards evening. For the grand honours of laughter, it will be writer, comedian, script-writer and host Korine Côté who will be at the helm, in 2025!

Korine has hosted and written for Radio-Canada‘s Grand rire for the past three years, so it was a natural decision for the broadcaster.

Korine officially posted the news on her Instagram account, along with a few words: “As a big fan of comedy as I am, it’s an honor for me to host the Gala Les Olivier. In 2005, I experienced my first gala as a seat filler while I was at theÉcole nationale de l’humour, and now, 20 years later, I’m hosting it. It’s very meaningful for me to be in charge of the evening that salutes and rewards the work of my peers. Thank you to theAPIH and Radio-Canada for trusting me, and thank you to the creative team for embarking on this wonderful project. We look forward to seeing you there!
