The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star – who has sons Mason, five, and Reign, four months, and daughter Penelope, two, with partner Scott Disick – knows working out is a ”positive” thing everyone should try but it wasn’t easy to get motivated to bring it back into her routine.

She said: ”It’s always so hard to start. Exercise is a positive thing that everyone should try to do for themselves.”

The 36-year-old beauty has also found eating regular small meals has helped her shed an impressive 35lbs in just four months.

She added to America’s OK! magazine: ”Little meals throughout the day are realistic for most people. It’s a fine balance between exercising and making sure that I eat enough.”

Kourtney now works out regularly with her younger sister Khloe Kardashian and regularly changes her regime to ”shock” her body.

A source said: ”She really does whatever fits into her schedule, and she changes it up to shock her body into losing the weight. She swims, hikes, runs, takes boxing lessons–anything to get moving, even if it’s just for 30 minutes.”

And now the reality star can’t wait to show off her new figure.

The source added: ”She’s started buying new clothes for summer. She’s excited to show off her flat stomach. She’s dropped three dress sizes, so she’s more confident than ever.”
