Kristen Bell ‘on a high’ since wedding

Kristen Bell is ”still on a high” after getting married.

The ‘Veronica Mars’ actress and her long-term partner Dax Shepard tied the knot in a low-key ceremony at Beverly Hills County Clerk’s Office on October 17, and she feels elated about finally being able to call him her husband.

She enthused: ”I’m still on a high. We actually did it. I can officially call him my husband, which is pretty awesome. Other than that, it feels exactly the same.”

The pair – who got engaged in 2010 – decided to delay their wedding until their home state of California legalized same-sex marriage, which happened in June. They have been lying low since the wedding and enjoying spending time as a family with their seven-month-old daughter Lincoln.

Kristen quipped: ”Life is great. I couldn’t be happier.”

The 33-year-old blonde voices the lead role in new Disney animation ‘Frozen’ and says her ‘Parenthood’ actor husband was instrumental in helping her prepare for the challenging part, rehearsing the songs with her in the kitchen.

Asked what Dax’s singing skills are like, Kristen joked to People magazine: ”Terrible! But no one is more passionate. He is all over the map key wise, but he’s really invested in what he sings and that’s what makes it tolerable. He’s aware of it. When the dogs leave the room, he’s aware!”
