Kung Fu Panda Hits the Television

The film Kung Fu Panda will be adapted to television.

Kids will be delighted to learn that the film Kung Fu Panda, which has been a box office sensation grossing over 600 million dollars worldwide, is headed for television.

The series, based on the 2008 film, starring the voices of Jack Black and Angelina Jolie, will include 26 episodes, and will air on the Nickelodeon children’s network.

The film was nominated for an Oscar this year in the best animated film category, but lost to Wall-E.

The series will be released in 2010, and will be using the same animation technology as the film.

It is not yet known, however, if Black and Jolie will be providing their voices for the main characters.
