La Prairie cosmetics has joined with Pomellato, an Italian jewellery brand, to launch a new fragrance line called Life Gems Threads, with bottles specially decorated with stones, reports Elle.fr. Inspired by precious stones, the three fragrances are called Sapphire, Ruby and Emerald.
Sapphire includes notes of green leaves, jasmine, amber and wood. Ruby has oriental notes of orange blossom, ylang-ylang and vanilla, while Emerald is composed of notes of galbanum expense of Bulgarian rose and oak moss.
During a special launch event at Parisienne department store, Printemps Haussmann, six lucky winners received a white gold ring with either a topaz, or a red or green tourmaline stone.
Last May, La Prairie launched a new platinum-based skin care line, as the metal is said to have revitalizing properties. Platinum has made its way into the world of upscale facials, offering a whole new generation of products.
