La Toya Jackson to perform at Michael Forever tribute

Singer ends 20-year hiatus to pay tribute to her brother.

After almost 20 years of shunning the stage, La Toya Jackson has signed on to perform at her brother Michael’s tribute concert in Cardiff, Wales on October 8, reports Music-News.

"I have put musical performance behind me for roughly two decades, but there will never be another magical moment such as this to celebrate Michael with his fans, to perpetuate the importance of his legacy," La Toya said in a statement.

"I’m looking forward to putting on a great show and making my brother proud."

The performer joins an already star-studded event. Among the names confirmed to perform at the Michael Forever tribute concert are: Gladys Knight, Alien Ant Farm, Alexandra Burke, Pixie Lott, The Jackson Brothers, 3T, and Diversity. R&B super-star Beyoncé will perform via satellite.

Other siblings in the Jackson family, including Janet, will not be attending the concert and are concerned that it is timed during the manslaughter trial for Dr. Conrad Murray, implicated in the death of the pop star.
