La Vie en Rose Big Winner at the BAFTAS

The French drama La Vie en Rose was the big winner at the British Academy Film and Television Arts Awards (BAFTA).

The BAFTAs were held on Sunday (February 10), and the French film won four awards. Marion Cotillard won for Best Actress in La Vie en Rose.  Best Actor was awarded to Daniel Day-Lewis (There Will Be Blood), and Best Film went to the romantic drama Atonement.

Best Director went to Joel and Ethan Coen, and Best Screenwriter went to Diablo Cody.

The Orange Rising Star Award, voted on by the public, was given to Shia LaBeouf who played in Transformers.

Anthony Hopkins was honoured with a BAFTA Fellowship Award.
