Lady Gaga and Calvin Harris’ Twitter row

Lady Gaga wrote a public rant to Calvin Harris on Twitter after he announced on BBC ‘Breakfast’ that he turned down the chance to work with her.

Lady Gaga got upset with Calvin Harris after he said he turned down working with her.

The ‘Marry The Night’ singer responded angrily after the DJ and producer said he’d turned down the opportunity to work with her in 2008.

She tweeted: "Seems to be trendy lately to talk s**t about "lady gaga" when your albums/singles drop. Y’all should live off your own hustle. #Ido (sic).

"never even emailed you @calvinharris I guess it’s hard to believe I write + produce my music. cuz I’m a woman I don’t know about EDM right? (sic)"

Calvin, 28, was quick to explain himself, replying: "@ladygaga no your label emailed me. I always make sure I say Im a fan when asked about it, I apologise if I offended u, wasn’t the intention (sic)"

Gaga, 26, quickly calmed down and accepted his apology, even congratulating him on his new album, ’18 Months’.

She posted: "@CalvinHarris thanks for the apology &explaining. My apologies too. Congratulations on your album. Wish you well. Cheers (sic)"

Calvin later replied he was looking forward to hearing Gaga’s new tracks with German producer Zedd, writing: "@ladygaga thank u I mean no harm. Looking forward to hearing your work with @zedd I love him!! (sic)"

The Scottish star later added: "Jeez you turn down one remix in 2008 and next thing the whole world’s on your back (sic)."
