Lady Gaga and Elton John sing together for Disney
Lady Gaga and Elton John sing Hello, Hello together for the soundtrack of Gnomeo and Juliet, a new animated Disney film that arrives in theatres February 11, 2011.
This will be Lady Gaga’s first appearance on a soundtrack while veteran pop star, Elton John, 63, previously shared the Academy Award for Best Original Song with Tim Rice for Can You Feel the Love Tonight from The Lion King soundtrack.
John is one of the producers of the children’s movie about rival clans of garden gnomes who live in adjacent gardens and only come to life when no humans are around. Lead roles are being voiced by James McAvoy, and Emily Blunt.
The mega-watt musicians performed together at the Grammys, covering Gaga’s Pokerface, Speechless and John’s Your Song, and John has since been keen on working with Gaga on new music.
“I’d love to [work with her] in the future," John recently told EW. “There’s a chance I might do one track with her [for Born This Way], but it’s just, she’s so busy, and I’m so busy, we can never get together!”
