Lady Gaga conquers Germany

Last night (March 4) was Germany’s turn to honour its music industry and some international stars too. Lady Gaga cleaned up at the Echo Awards, just like she did at the Brit Awards in England. She dominated the evening with three wins, including Best International Rock/Pop Performance.

Gaga is currently on her Monster Ball tour in Europe. It has been revamped since she arrived in the Old World. She did not leave the tour to attend the awards’ ceremony last night to pick up her trophies.

She also won Newcomer of the Year and Hit of the Year for her song Poker Face.

The singer was in Newcastle last night in England. She performs in Birmingham tonight (March 5) before flying to Oceania to begin a series of concerts in New Zealand and Australia. She then heads to Japan for four shows before returning to Europe for another 12 concerts.

Lady Gaga may have been absent but some other stars showed up: Rihanna, Ke$ha, Robbie Williams and Sade.
