Lady Gaga hints at VMA performance

Theatrical pop performer promises “you will not be disappointed.”

Theatrical pop performer Lady Gaga promises fans a memorable performance at the MTV Video Music Awards this coming Sunday, reports Music News.

The eccentric diva will be opening the awards ceremony with her usual aplomb. In 2009, her first appearance at the VMAs, Gaga performed her hit Paparazzi. At the end of the performance, she appeared lifeless on the stage, seemingly bleeding to death.

"I would say that my life is one continuous performance, and that, in a way, all performances of mine relate to one another.” Gaga told MTV News. “And you will not be disappointed."

Known for enthusiastically promoting her concerts and music, the Born This Way singer hints that she has planned another spectacular show, and viewers will just have to tune in if they want to see.

The 28th annual MTV Video Music Awards will air live on Sunday, August 28, from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Performers include Adele, Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Bruno Mars, Nicki Minaj, and Kanye West, among others.
