Lady Gaga is ok with fine

The singer gets fined for starting her London show late.

Teen Music reports that Lady Gaga was hit with a $19,000 fine for starting her first of two London shows late last Friday (February 26).

The singer took to the stage at O2 Arena about 45 minutes late after dress rehearsals ran longer than planned. She may now be required to pay a hefty fine to venue executives.

A source says, "Lady Gaga was still doing her dress rehearsal at 7pm when the doors were supposed to be open and the first support act was due on. She wouldn’t finish rehearsing until she was happy. In the end she was 45 minutes late but refused to cut the set short. She told organisers she didn’t care about the fine, all she cared about was putting on the best show for her ‘little monsters’."

A number of British celebrities were on hand to catch Gaga’s Monster Ball tour, including Cheryl Cole, Lily Allen, Sharon Osbourne and Emma Bunton.

More Monster Ball tour dates were announced today (March 1). After performing in the UK, Australia and Japan, Gaga will return to Europe for more shows. She then skips back across the pond for another round of North American shows.
