Lady Gaga is finding it hard to get over the death of her good friend Lee Alexander McQueen. Orange News reports that she relied on the British designer for inspiration.
The singer always wore McQueen creations. She was devastated to learn that the designer committed suicide on February 11 in his London apartment.
Lady Gaga (aka Stefani Germanotta) joined family and friends last week to put McQueen to rest.
She admitted today that she is deeply saddened by this tragic loss because McQueen was a real inspiration for her.
She says, "I feel left with nobody to inspire me anymore. I’m an outcast from the music industry. I don’t have any friends in the music business. People in Britain are the ones who’ve really been my friends."
Alexander McQueen’s design house will continue its activities using the designer’s name.
Lady Gaga says she will carry on with her unique look for her fans. She adds that she would rather "die than have my fans not see me in a pair of high heels. I’d never give up my wigs and hats for anything."
