Lady Gaga surprised young Greyson Chance while he was in the middle of a television interview yesterday (May 13), Orange News reports.
The youngster was appearing on the Ellen DeGeneres show when he received a special phone call. Gaga phoned in to thank him for making her song an online success.
Chance was invited on the show because the home video of him performing Gaga’s Paparazzi has been viewed more than eight million times on YouTube.
He never dreamed he would get a chance to speak to his idol in person while he was on the show.
Lady Gaga admitted she watched the video and described the young man as "sweet and talented."
She added: "I’m so excited that you covered Paparazzi… Just keep following your dreams and work really hard and stay away from girls."
The appealing young man admitted he has received several phone numbers since his newfound fame.
