Lady Gaga promises spectacular tour in 2012

Pop star performs new single Marry the Night on UK’s The X Factor.

Lady Gaga is touting the stage she is designing for her upcoming 2012 tour, when she plans to hit the road again for another massive tour that will take her around the globe.

The theatrical pop star performed her new single Marry the Night on U.K.’s X Factor TV talent show, which included a glimpse of her latest bizarre costume, a headless corpse dress.

After the performance, Gaga told the announcer and the audience, “I’m gonna be here (in Britain) next year for my next tour. I just finished designing the stage and it’s bigger and better than ever. I’m so happy. I can’t wait to see you all there.”

Also, Gaga recently confirmed that she ended her working relationship with longtime creative director Laurieann Gibson, reports Rolling Stone. Among other factors, the two had a major disagreement after Gibson told the press what a great inspiration Madonna was, while Gaga, in the meantime, had been trying to distance herself from comparisons to the ’80s pop star.

Although there has been no official word on Gibson’s replacement, her assistant Richard Jackson has choreographed all of Gaga’s recent performance, including her most recent on The X Factor.
