Lady Gaga to debut new song

Government Hooker set to debut during Thierry Mugler runway show this afternoon.

Lady Gaga will debut a new song, Government Hooker, this afternoon (March 2) during the Thierry Mugler runway show during Paris Fashion Week, reports Rolling Stone.

The show, which will also mark Gaga’s debut as a runway model, is scheduled to begin at 9:00 pm Central European Time (3:00 pm Eastern) and will stream live on the Thierry Mugler Facebook page.

"I’m making my debut as a runway model, walking in the Mugler Paris Fashionshow 3/2. I directed the show music, previewing Government Hooker," Gaga wrote via Twitter.

This afternoon’s performance will not be the first time Gaga has previewed a new song during a runway show. In January, the singer debuted a remix of her single Scheiße at another of Mugler’s shows, while in September 2009, Gaga fans managed to crash the live streaming server after the singer announced she would be debuting a new song during Alexander McQueen’s spring-summer 2011 show.

Last September, longtime Gaga collaborator and designer Nicola Formichetti was named creative director for the label, and will debut his womenswear collection at today’s show.
